FAQ

I'm excited that you're thinking of working with me. Here are a few FAQs to help you get started.

What services do you offer?

Thanks for asking. I am primarily a creative and conversion-focused copywriter. It means that my expertise lies in: website copy, landing pages, sales pages, email drips, in-app/UX, taglines, naming and packaging. I also offer editing and proofreading. I can write long-form content (and have, for BigCommerce, ShipBob, Digital Marketer and SEMRush) as long as you're able to provide a brief. I currently do not write bids/grants.

Where are you based?

I live and work in London, UK, but also work with clients in the U.S., Canada and Australia. Most of my work is done remotely, but I can work on-site. This is included (free) in the quote for London clients, and on an individual basis for clients outside of London or the UK.

How much is a blog post?

How long is a piece of string? This perfectly innocent question is asked of all writers, and the clearest, most honest answer I can give is this: A blog post is a piece of marketing which could turn a casual reader into a customer. For that reason, it's always worth investing in high-quality content. It means that if you're looking for writers who will quote you on a cost-per-word basis, then you should, respectfully, try a content mill such as UpWork.

Do I need to have a budget?

You don't need a budget, but it makes both of our lives easier if you have one. I will always give you a fair and honest quotation for your project. This quotation is usually negotiable to a degree, but coming in with an idea of your budget will save us both from any nasty surprises.

What happens during the free consultation?

During your free, no obligation consultation (usually done via phone, Skype or email), we'll cover a few essentials. 1. The general scope and timeline of your project 2. Your expectations from your copywriter 3. Your audience 4. Specific deliverables for your project 5. Next steps A quotation will generally be sent following the consultation, in writing.

Can you write my screenplay?

Absolutely. Ads, plays, animation shorts, movies and TV episodes are welcome. If you haven't already, check out my side project, Ten Minute Screenplays.
